The Snug, a newly refurbished 2 person self-contained first floor flat is located in the lovely seaside town of Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae and lies just a few steps away from the towns original quaint harbour and the promenade. Set over two floors the flat consists of a sitting room and kitchen on the first floor and, on the floor above linked by a spiral staircase, a very spacious dual aspect double bedroom and bathroom with over bath shower.
Known as Scotland’s most accessible island Cumbrae is easily reached by an 8-minute ferry crossing from Largs on the mainland. The island has lovely clean sandy beaches and hidden coves with yachts moored out in the sheltered bays. Millport is also the home of Europe’s smallest cathedral and Britain’s narrowest house. Cumbrae is a haven for wildlife, a colony of seals live in the bay and it attracts migrant birds from around the world. The island is just 10 miles all the way around and a quiet road around the island is popular with walkers and cyclists. The island also has a golf course. Footpaths across the hills in the centre of the island provide rural walks and panoramic views across the sea to the Isle of Arran, Isle of Bute and the Mull of Kintyre. Electricity, bed linen, Freesat TV and Wi-Fi are included. Towels can be provided for a small charge. The well-equipped newly fitted kitchen has an electric hob, microwave/oven/grill and under counter fridge with ice box.
There is also a washing machine. Shared enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. On road parking. No smoking and no pets.
