Situated on the west side of the island this rock was painted many years ago to represent an Indian’s face.

It is thought that it was first painted by a local known as Fern Andy who used to sell ferns on the island in the 1920s. It can be seen from the road, high up on the cliffs on the stretch of road from Fintry Bay to the Hush Hush.
