Fisherman’s Nook is a ground floor apartment, on the sea shore, close to the harbour at Millport.
It originally formed part of a row of tiny single storey fishermen’s cottages, (the upstairs rooms were added later), probably dating back to the 18th century. In front of the property, above the rocks, is a small area of grass where the fishermen’s nets were once laid out to dry but today makes a sunny spot to sit, drink a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular views of the islands of Wee Cumbrae and Arran.
